“Awesome Sauce”


The inspiration for this sauce was discovered on Food.com and boy, am I ever glad that I found it! The original recipe calls for tamarind and saffron but because I had neither in my kitchen, I figured I would try it anyway. It works and it works with many things.

This is great as part of the Paleo Avocado Wrap, can be paired with baked ham or add a dab to your morning omelet for something different. Make it, you will love it.


1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp ground cumin
1/4 cup olive oil
3 tsp white vinegar
2 green onions, chopped
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup chopped cashews
2/3 cup fresh cilantro
1 Tbsp of minced garlic

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Make a batch, bottle it up and leave it in the fridge like a regular condiment.
