Winter & Aging

Winter dry skin is scary but what’s even more scary is when I put a clay mask on and all my wrinkles are highlighted! In all seriousness, I love laugh lines and crow’s feet on people…it means they lived, loved, experienced life. It just surprises me when I see mine ~ I feel like I should be in my 20’s, not my 40’s with a mortgage, soon-to-be teenaged children and parents well into their senior years._

Time flies by fast, make this a year where you begin to live the life you wanted. Reach goals, smile more, cross off items on your ‘Bucket List’, help others often and learn to love yourself.

I’m a work in progress and it’s been just recently that I’ve started to see changes. The puffiness is going, my eyes are getting bigger, my chin is becoming more defined…I’m beginning to feel better.

Whenever I put together a weekly meal plan that consists of several complicated recipes, it leaves me frustrated and tired…especially when dinner is eaten in 1/16th the time it took to prepare it!

Simple dishes end up being the most enjoyable to prepare, eat and clean up after.
