The Arm Challenge: Day 16

Today is Day 16 which is a REST DAY!!! But because I did not do ‘The Arm Challenge’ yesterday, I am doing Day 15:

Today’s modifications are:
1st cycle:
30 seconds of Plank & 30 Cobras
30 dumbbell presses & 30 tricep
42 bicep curls
35 second punches
30 squats

2nd cycle:
30 dumbbell presses & 30tricep
42 bicep curls
35 second punches
30 squats

TOTAL:
*30 seconds of Plank & 30 Cobras (in lieu of 30 push-ups)
*60 dumbbell presses & 60 tricep extensions (in lieu of 60 dips)
*84 bicep curls
*70 punches

I am so tired today. In fact I am counting down to when the kids go to bed because I will be following shortly. I’ve done to mini stints on the treadmill which total 25 minutes.

Day 10 of ‘The Arm Challenge’, the modifications I made are:

*28 seconds of Plank & 28 Cobras (in lieu of 20 push-ups)
*35 dumbbell presses & 35 tricep extensions (in lieu of 35 dips)
*60 bicep curls
*45 second punches
*35 squats

30 Day Plank Challenge: Day 27 & 28

As per the last Plank Challenge post, I am struggling! I am so thankful that we are down to three days! I make my times but to be honest with you, they are getting split up more often and spread through out the day. This challenge is kicking my butt but making my arms are stronger, so the pay back is great. I find that because of this I am making other choices. A positive snowball effect has happened! With that said though, with  my foot hurt, I am not going to attempt doing this today or tomorrow.

I am looking forward to The Arm Challenge (starting December 1st) , where I hope many of you will post “Before & After” photos. Let’s SEE the results of our hard work!

Plank Challenge Day 14

ARRRRGHHH! My computer keeps on freezing on me and I finally have the Arm Challenge post done. If you are reading this and you did your 90 Second Plank Challenge, I commend you, pat you on your back and give you a High Five! I am doing it but at in two 45 second sets. For those of you just starting, congratulations…I promise you that it’s does get easier…not by much but when I first started I could barely do 10 seconds!

Plank Challenge: Day 10

I’m putting together a 30 Day Arm Challenge and will hopefully have it up later tonight as well as a photo of my treadmill time. I’m not going to let the rain stop me! With that said, how was Day 10 of the Plank Challenge? We’re up to 60 seconds now…a far cry from 20! A big congratulations to those participating!

My Arm Challenge

On top of the Plank Challenge, I am thinking I need to start an Arm Challenge. My arms are huge and have lost all the muscle they once had. For various reasons, I have gained a lot of weight. Some due to very poor choices, some due to medical issues. Putting myself and my flabby arms out into cyberspace in the form of photos for everyone to see would be great motivation for me to begin doing arm exercises. Anyone else wanting to participate? If you said yes,  simply comment on my Arm Challenge post  and updates on Passion for Paleo’s Facebook page.

Plank Challenge: Day 9

Day 9 of the Plank Challenge, Day 1 of the Arm Challenge is soon here, is there any other challenge I forgot to mention? 🙂 If you are planking, today’s time is 60 seconds!! (30 + 30 OR 60 + 60). I am starting my day off with a walk, will do my plank and will figure out rubber tension bands and start my arm transformation. Any exercise I do right now will be better than what I haven’t done. You gotta start somewhere!
